ORIGINAL AMFISOUND DESIGN
This model has a beautiful, semi-hollow classic guitar shape with a touch of violin in it, combined with modern soloist-style playability. These things are rarely seen in one and the same guitar. The Amfisound Halti model looks and feels like a classic LP style guitar, but it has been built with new and revolutionary changes concerning the old traditional construction. Our set-lock neck joint turns two planks into one, and creates one fully acoustic instrument. The body and the neck support each other with their own sound characters, letting their own harmonies go through the joint and creating bright and open vibrations that sound throughout the instrument. At the same time, this revolutionarily-shaped neck joint provides easy playability for the entire fingerboard area.
All of this is now also available as a semi-hollow Halti Arcticia version.
WOODS AND HARDWARE
The 10th Anniversary model features a deluxe-class European flamed maple top, a semi-hollow carved mahogany body, and a ”set-lock” jointed mahogany neck. The fingerboard is of Indian rosewood and features 24 medium/jumbo stainless steel frets. The model’s hardware is golden: classic-style deluxe tuners, Original Amfisound potentiometer knobs, a TonePros bridge and tailpiece, and Schaller straplocks.
FINNISH HANDICRAFT
The guitar is loaded with classic single-cut controls to maintain an excellent range of classic tones, from vintage neck tones to the crystal clears that are characteristic of our builds.
Great balance between both pickups is provided by a Finnish pickup maker, our old schoolmate Jarno Salo. So for this model we have chosen something completely unique and special from our own home country.
STEP BY STEP INTRODUCTION
The guitar comes with a Premium Building Process Book, which introduces the full project of how your guitar got its shape and paints. The book will tell the story of your guitar step by step, including authentic building process pictures and detailed shots of the finished instrument. Each book features the signature of the builders, giving your hand-made custom instrument additional value. Thus, you have the great possibility to see for yourself “the unique story of your guitar”! The guitar itself features a special serial number, a Label and Authorization of Authenticity.
